Hello tweeters! Thanks to those who attended today’s very late notice ATUB at the Earl of Leicester. We’ll have to come back here on a properly organised day, Sundays look like the best time to visit – with free use of the pool table!

Just a note to say that July’s ATUB will be held a week early on the weekend of the 16th-18th. There’s a poll in the sidebar for you to vote on your preferred day and time of the weekend, though we expect it to be on the Saturday evening.

With many thanks to a ATUB first timer who put the event together, @crazyspeak! It has been a long time since a proper meetup and the Ed Castle seems to be our favourite spot. Staking out the balcony, ATUB set themselves up for a night in to catch up with twitter friends and to put other names to faces.

On behalf of the Adelaide Communications twitter users, PPR Adelaide has organised a tweetup for Journos / PR and other Comms people in the industry to network and have a chat.

If you’re interested, you should RSVP straight away to @PPRAdelaide – the event is on tomorrow night (Tuesday November 10) from 5-7pm at the recently renovated (and now very stylish) Hotel Tivoli (@Hotel_Tivoli) on 265 Pirie Street in the city.

We can’t wait to hear how it goes!

Time has gotten away from us all this month and as a result we have decided that there will be no official ATUB for October. However we would like to remind you that it’s not just  up to us – you can all organise ATUB events and we are happy to get the news out there and promote them for you.

And let us know if you’d like the event included on the calendar and as a blog post. We’d love to see more Adelaide Twitter events! They don’t even have to be Twitter based, but if you want to get the word out about your event let us know.

The next scheduled ATUB is at the very end of November. November has lots of Adelaide events in store, look out for the November events blog post next week!

Already time is slipping away from us and it’s almost halfway through October – this means there’s another ATUB coming up soon!
